I have never wanted my practice to feel impersonal. People do not usually come for aesthetic treatment carrying only a practical request. There is often something more private beneath it — an insecurity, a frustration, a shift in how they feel in themselves, or a quiet wish to look more like the version of themselves they recognise. Because of that, I do not think of patients as appointments to be moved through the day. What matters to me is understanding the individual sitting in front of me — how you see yourself, what feels right to you, and what kind of change would feel in keeping with who you are. There is a particular closeness to this work. To be allowed into that space requires trust, and I think trust is felt in the atmosphere as much as in the outcome.
